SugarBites didn’t begin in a café. It began at home  in a warm, flour- dusted kitchen filled with the scent of cakes fresh out of the oven and laughter that echoed from room to room.

 Five years ago, Madam Sali, a mother with magic in her hands and love in her heart began baking cakes from her humble kitchen. No fancy machines.  

No storefront. Just a deep passion for bringing joy to others through the sweet comfort of homemade desserts. Word spread quickly. Her cakes became the heart of birthdays, weddings, and quiet Sunday afternoons in the neighbourhood.

At the same time, her daughter Tala found her own rhythm in the kitchen — crafting buttery cookies that melted hearts and sparked smiles. She would pack them with care, delivering more than just a treat — delivering warmth, kindness, and a little piece of home. Together, they weren’t just selling sweets. They were sharing memories. 

SugarBites was born from those moments — from the simple belief that food made with love can bring people together. What started as a mother-and-daughter home project slowly grew into a dream: to create a place where that same warmth, love, and sense of belonging could be shared with even more people. Today, SugarBites is more than just a specialty coffee shop. It’s a continuation of that story — of home. 

Every cup of coffee, every carefully crafted drink, every soft-baked cookie and indulgent pastry carries the same love that once filled that small family kitchen.  Here, the lights are warm.   The chairs are soft.  And the welcome is real. It’s a space where strangers become friends, where students find focus, where parents take a breath, and where memories are brewed alongside every shot of espresso.  

We pour our hearts into everything we do — from the beans we choose to the stories we share. Because SugarBites isn’t just about coffee and cake. It’s about connection. It’s about comfort. It’s about community. And it all began at home.
